Guesser Space Legal

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data Guesser Space stores, what data is sent to third-party services, why that happens, and what choices you have.

Effective August 10, 2026 · Marek Dieška, publishing as Apakhian Games · mdieska1@gmail.com

1. Overview

Guesser Space is a brain-training game app developed and operated by Marek Dieška, an individual developer based in Slovakia, publishing under the name Apakhian Games. "Apakhian Games" is a publishing name and not a registered legal entity. We try to collect and transmit as little personal data as possible. However, some features of the app, such as subscriptions, rankings, friends, referrals, and optional Google sign-in, require third-party services.

2. Data We Collect and Process

2.1 Data stored only on your device

DataPurpose
Onboarding preferencesUsed to personalize the app experience.
Language and theme preferencesUsed to display the app according to your settings.
Gameplay progress, streaks, unlocked achievements, and local puzzle stateUsed to save progress and game history on your device.
A cache of your profile (nickname, bio, avatar, flag, banner color, privacy toggles)Kept on-device for fast loading; the cloud copy described in 2.3 is authoritative.
Certain local subscription UI flagsUsed to remember whether subscription messages have already been shown.

Local app data is generally removed when you uninstall the app, except where platform services retain credentials or identifiers as described below.

2.2 Firebase Authentication

We use Firebase Authentication provided by Google LLC.

  • Anonymous Authentication, to create a persistent app user ID used for rankings, friends, referrals, and subscription identity mapping.
  • Google Sign-In, if you choose to link or sign in with your Google account.

When you use Google Sign-In, Google and Firebase may process information associated with your Google account, such as your Google account identifier and authentication tokens, in order to authenticate you. We do not intentionally request your contacts, calendar, photos, or other unrelated Google account data.

Google's privacy policy is available athttps://policies.google.com/privacy.

2.3 Cloud Firestore

We use Cloud Firestore provided by Google LLC to store limited gameplay-related cloud data.

  • your Firebase user ID,
  • your optional player nickname,
  • your optional profile bio, avatar choice, flag badge, and banner color,
  • XP and level information,
  • leaderboard and ranking scores, and whether you've chosen to keep them visible to other players,
  • your achievement progress and unlocked in-app collectibles,
  • your friends list, pending friend requests, and any players you've blocked,
  • streak counts you send to or receive from friends,
  • referral code records and referral redemption history,
  • timestamps such as update or redemption times,
  • if you submit feedback through the in-app Suggestion Box, the message you write, your Firebase user ID, your player nickname, your device platform (iOS or Android), and the submission time.

We do not use Firestore to store your payment card details.

The Suggestion Box is free text, so please avoid including personal information you would not want us to see when you submit feedback.

2.4 Firebase Realtime Database

We use Firebase Realtime Database, provided by Google LLC, to show whether you're currently online, away, or offline to other signed-in players — for example, to a friend viewing your profile. This is limited to your online/away/offline state and the time it last changed; no other activity, content, or location data is included.

You can turn this off in Settings. With visibility disabled, the app always reports your status as offline, regardless of whether you're actually using it.

2.5 Cloud Functions

We use Firebase Cloud Functions to validate and process gameplay data on our servers rather than trusting the app alone. This includes redeeming referral and promo codes, submitting leaderboard scores, awarding daily XP, syncing achievements, syncing streaks, and handling friend requests. Each of these functions processes your Firebase user ID and the relevant gameplay data (for example, a score, an XP amount, or a friend request) needed to validate the action and prevent abuse, and stores the result in the Cloud Firestore data described in section 2.3.

2.6 Firebase Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics, provided by Google LLC, to understand how the app is used in aggregate — for example, which onboarding steps are completed, when the paywall is shown or tapped, and whether a subscription purchase succeeded. This generates usage-event data tied to an analytics identifier rather than your name or email address. We do not use Firebase Analytics to build advertising profiles, and the app does not display third-party advertising.

Google's privacy policy is available athttps://policies.google.com/privacy.

2.7 RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions, store trials, restores, and promotional entitlements.

  • your app user ID used by the app for subscription identity,
  • purchase or subscription receipt information from Apple or Google,
  • subscription status, entitlement state, and expiration dates,
  • technical identifiers needed for subscription processing.

RevenueCat's privacy policy is available athttps://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.

2.8 Apple App Store and Google Play

Payments are processed by Apple or Google, not by us. We do not receive your full payment card number or billing credentials.

2.9 Notifications

The app asks for permission to send you notifications, which are used in two ways:

  • Local reminders, generated and scheduled entirely on your device to remind you about streaks and general app activity. These are never sent to or generated by our servers. To schedule them at the correct local time, the app reads your device's time zone; this stays on your device and is not transmitted anywhere.
  • Push notifications, delivered through Firebase Cloud Messaging(Google LLC). Every install is subscribed to a general broadcast channel so we can occasionally message all players at once — for example, announcements or re-engagement messages. Firebase Cloud Messaging processes a device token to deliver these; we do not currently use it to target individual players.

You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

3. Data We Do Not Intentionally Collect

  • your phone number,
  • your contacts,
  • your precise location,
  • microphone or camera recordings,
  • advertising identifiers for ad targeting,
  • personal data from other apps on your device.

The app does not display third-party advertising.

4. How We Use Data

  • authentication and account linking,
  • saving and restoring progress,
  • subscriptions, trials, and entitlement checks,
  • referral and promo code validation,
  • leaderboards and score ranking,
  • friends, friend requests, blocking, and streak sharing,
  • showing your online/away/offline status to other players, if you allow it,
  • localization and app personalization,
  • sending local reminders and push notifications about your streaks and app activity,
  • reviewing and responding to feedback submitted through the Suggestion Box,
  • abuse prevention and service integrity.

We do not sell your personal data to data brokers or advertisers.

6. Data Retention

  • Local device data: until removed by you, app reset, or app uninstall.
  • Firebase Authentication data: until the account or auth record is removed, subject to Google/Firebase retention rules.
  • Firestore ranking, profile, friends, and referral records: until deleted by us, by service lifecycle changes, or upon a valid deletion request where feasible.
  • Realtime Database presence records: continuously overwritten with your latest state; no history is kept.
  • Suggestion Box submissions: until deleted by us or upon a valid deletion request.
  • RevenueCat subscription records: according to RevenueCat's own retention practices.

Some third-party services may retain backup, security, accounting, or fraud-prevention records for longer where permitted or required by law.

7. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and data portability.

Because part of your data is stored only on your device, you can delete that local data by uninstalling the app. You can also turn off notifications at any time in your device settings.

From within the app, you can also:

  • hide your online/away/offline status and your stats/leaderboard visibility from other players,
  • remove a friend or block another player at any time,
  • edit or clear your player nickname, bio, avatar, flag badge, and banner color.

For cloud-stored data, you may contact us atmdieska1@gmail.com and request deletion of data associated with your app account. To help us identify your record, please include the app name, your device platform, your player nickname if you set one, and, if relevant, the approximate date of use or purchase.

  • Deleting the app does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
  • Signing out of Google does not itself guarantee deletion of cloud-stored ranking, profile, or referral records.
  • Subscription and billing records may also be retained by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat under their own obligations.

8. Children's Privacy

Guesser Space is not directed toward children under the age at which consent is required in the applicable jurisdiction, unless permitted by local law and platform policy.

If you believe a child has provided personal data through the app in a way that should be removed, contact us at mdieska1@gmail.com.

9. Security

We rely on the security features of our service providers, including encryption in transit and access controls provided by Firebase, Google, Apple, and RevenueCat. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to minimize unnecessary data collection and exposure.

10. International Processing

Because our service providers operate internationally, your data may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence, subject to the safeguards and contractual commitments of those providers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we will update the effective date on this page. Continued use of the app after the updated policy becomes effective means you accept the revised version.

12. Contact

If you have questions or requests regarding this Privacy Policy, contactmdieska1@gmail.com.
