Delete your account

How to ask

1. Write to mdieska1@gmail.com with the subject Delete my account. If you can, send it from the Google account you use in Guesser Space.
2. Include your player name and the email of the Google account you sign in with. You’ll find that email in the app under ··· More, on the account row with the cloud icon. Your friend code (it looks like GS-7KQ2MX) helps too.
3. We may ask you to confirm the request from that Google account, so nobody can delete an account that isn’t theirs.
4. We delete the account and confirm by email, within one month at the latest and usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

• your sign-in record in Firebase Authentication, including the Google account ID, email address, name and picture it holds,
• your player record: player name, bio, picture, flag, banner color and privacy settings,
• XP, level, daily streak, achievements, statistics and leaderboard scores, so you disappear from the leaderboards,
• Intergalactic Cash, Streak Freezes, boosters, skins, banner colors and creatures, including Pro creatures,
• your friends, friend requests and blocked players, the streaks and creatures you shared and reactions to them,
• co-pilot pairings, Rendezvous history and notices about activity involving you,
• your referral code and redemption records, push notification tokens and your online-status record,
• messages you sent through the Suggestion Box.

What is kept

• Purchase and subscription records held by Google Play and RevenueCat, which they keep for accounting and legal reasons under their own policies.
• Analytics and crash data that isn’t tied to your account. It expires on its own: crash reports after 90 days, analytics data within 14 months.
• Backups at our providers, which are overwritten after a short time.

Before you ask

• Cancel Pro first. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription. Cancel it in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions.
• Deletion is permanent. Progress, Cash, items and creatures can’t be restored afterwards, and a new account starts from zero.
• Only want to clear your phone? Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes what’s stored on the device. Your account stays, and your progress comes back when you sign in again.
• Want to be less visible instead? In Profile Settings you can hide your stats and online status, and in Friends you can remove or block anyone.
